Nicaragua Pacamara COE #1
Tastes Like: Dried Dates, Blackberry, Clementine, and Milk Chocolate
El Cerro de Jesús was founded in 1999, and its current management is led by Laura Lintner, the Nicaraguan daughter of one of the farm's founders. Laura is supported in her role by a team of experts, including external professionals and workers trained on the farm.
There were two parallel motivations for Cerro de Jesus: the desire to produce quality coffee and preserve the natural environment and the community. As a result, the El Cerro de Jesús farm has been certified by the Rainforest Alliance since 2012.
All of the coffee at Derro de Jesus is grown under shade, offering essential habitats and biological corridors to Cerro's wide range of animal species.
