Brazil Sítio Cabeceira Rio Ponte
Tastes Like: Honey, Walnut Cookie, Rose-hip
Each year we taste through thousands of samples looking for the coffees that fit into our offering list. For Brazil we have very specific expectations and the vast majority of coffees don't live up to them. We want clean, sweet and vibrant coffees without the heavy pulpy fruit.
Last year, at a time when we weren't actually looking for more coffee we tasted some coffee from Osito Coffee that were grown in Espírito Santo, a region that we knew almost nothing about. These coffees were washed coffees, which is a bit of a rarity from Brazil, but were clean and sweet just like we always want. But we didn't have room for them then, making plans to circle back this year.
This coffee carries some of the same character you expect from a Brazil, but on the lighter, crisper and sweeter side. We can't wait for you to try it.
